Emmy Awards, trionfa Modern Family, premiato Clooney per impegno umanitario

Questa notte si è svolta la 62a edizione degli Emmy Awards che hanno visto trionfare nella categoria comedy la serie Modern Family, che si è aggiudicata la statuetta come miglior serie nella categoria comedy già al suo primo anno di messa in onda. Si conferma invece tra i drama l’inarrestabile Mad Men che continua a vincere premi e ricevere nominations.


Sorpresa tra gli attori per la vittoria di Kyra Sedwick per The Closer, che ha scalzato le favorite Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife) e Glenn Close (Damages). Tra i più giovani a calcare il palco per ricevere il premio Aaron come miglior attore non protagonista di Breaking Bad e Jim Parson come miglior attore protagonista della serie comica The Big Bang Theory. Infine è arrivato sul palco anche George Clooney, a cui è stato conferito un riconoscimento per il suo impegno umanitario: il Bob Hope Humanitarian Award gli è stato consegnato proprio dalla sua ex collega di ER Julianna Margulies.
